My journey of grace is a rollercoaster, with exhilarating highs and heart-stopping lows. There are moments of joy and laughter, as well as times of fear and desperation. But I rest in the unshakable confidence that Jesus has me in the grip of His grace, using everything for His glory and my good.

Growing up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, I embraced the unique identity of being called Ruth. Life took unexpected turns, leading me to the Church of the Nazarene and a life filled with faith. Together with my husband, we founded and served at Rockbridge Community Church for 15 remarkable years, witnessing growth, ordination, and powerful spiritual experiences.

Now, as I navigate through numerous corkscrews on this rollercoaster ride, I am constantly reminded of God's faithfulness. He continues to amaze me, blowing my mind with His goodness and provision. Presently, our journey has led us to the Garden State, where we wholeheartedly embrace the opportunity to serve and love the people of South Jersey. I devote my full-time efforts to making a difference as a Work Adjustment Trainer at The Arc of Salem County, while also serving part-time at BFCN.

In the midst of it all, I hold onto two verses from Paul's letter to the church in Philippi. They remind me that God is faithfully at work within us, and He will continue that work until its completion on the day of Christ Jesus's return. These verses assure me that God is working in me, granting both the desire and the power to please Him.

As the Connections Pastor, my deepest longing is to provide encouragement and support throughout your personal journey. I yearn to see you deeply connected with a discipleship group, growing in your faith, passionately sharing the love of Jesus within your sphere of influence, and embracing the everyday rhythms of grace made available through a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.
